I’ve always been driven by an itch to create — from building with Lego as a child to designing complex automotive systems. For me, engineering is about the thrill of building something new and making it work.

My passion lies in finding effective solutions to complex challenges. The best example is the BMDU (Battery Management and Disconnect Unit). While our customer was looking to source three separate components, I saw an opportunity to integrate them into a single, compact unit. This innovation not only optimized packaging space but also dramatically lowered production costs and simplified assembly, securing us the project. I led the development of this product from a concept on a whiteboard to the first successful C-samples—one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

This hands-on approach has been shaped by a diverse journey through the engineering world. At Bosch, I designed hybrid plastic components for voltage regulators and became the co-inventor of four patents. At Airbus Helicopters, I perfected my skills on composite and milled parts for the H160 airframe. And at Munich Electrification, I didn’t just design; I gained deep experience in systems engineering, sourcing, cost engineering, industrialization, and testing, inventing and patenting two major products in under three years.

As an entrepreneur, I worked on challenges in the European defence sector and advised Hyba S.r.l. on the development of their swappable battery system.

I’m now taking on the challenge of developing a cutting-edge battery system at Vaeridion as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.
